Hand building large scale work was incredibly rewarding to me. I love a medium as physically demanding as it is mentally engaging. Vessel as figure, I return always to referring to the individual, human. Across every material, the internal/ personal/ lived experience is ever present, quite often passive forms in a quiet space, with an undisclosed inner world.
This grouping of work was made during undergrad, as well as for my residency show, Duet.
