Still Structural
So much of my work employs the human figure as subject matter. The figure is an elegant machine; it has both fluidity of gesture and strict structure. I love the push and pull of a duality like this. Aside from imagery, my practice is driven by process and how far to take it. This body of work in particular agonizes on what level of finish yields the most successful piece.
